Weekend Update - Gold Eggs 3 + Marine's Journey + Achievements | v2.89

09/14/2024

• New wave of Golden Eggs, introducing the new Android Shadow Gold and Gold Style Jet, alongside Gold Style Knuckles (Exotic).
• Marine the Raccoon debuts in Marine's Journey.
• New Acheivement System, collect Badges to unlock Elite Sonic.
• Lost Valley Classic has been readded, find it inside Lost Valley.

QoL Additions

• Cream the Rabbit's event overhauled, now unlock her from the tutorial, Cream's Friends
• Golden Eggs rework. Free eggs are now infinite and the timer to collect them has been removed. After opening 50 of any egg, the player is awarded with 3 premium eggs.
• Green Hill Zone has received a new grind rail and new sky rings.
• The HUB has been rearranged.
  • Travel has been moved to the bottom bar.
  • Settings, help, and achievements added to the top.
  • Friend boosts have been minimized.
  • There's a brand new music player tab at the top to easily change songs in game.
  • Bug fixes, inlcuding a fix to the 2x gamepass podium.
  • Limited Time Sales update.
  • Adjusted sky ring requirements for Sky Rings to be lower.
  • Option to reduce bloom and disable camera shake.

Weekend Update - Battle of the Bands + Chemical Plant Classic | v2.88

• Chemical Plant Classic has been readded as a secret, find it inside New Yoke City!

• All new Quest System has been added into the game, lots of quests from Green Hill Zone to all the way City Escape Zone!

• The Golden Eggs have a 2nd wave! Obtain Gold Style Tails and Gold Metal Sonic in the eggs for some period of time!

• A revamped Tornado Assault event was introduced back! Obtain Aviator Tails and the Tornado!

• A Fast Travel feature! Getting rid of world Portals and using Fast Travel as the new transportation!

QoL Additions

• An improved tutorial system!
• Sonic The Hedgehog has been fully updated with a newer model and overhauled animations!
  • Additionally Ninja Sonic has been given an updated jog to run cycle and brake animation
• A new Egg Vendor Model!
• New Reward Display along with Quest Progression Pop Ups!
  • Within the Pop Up Animation, Rings and Red Star Rings have a Splash Effect when you get them!
• Race Shop, Red Star Rings Store and Fast Friends/Character Mastery are locked behind quest progression instead of time!
  • Unlocked right after unlocking Hill Top Zone
• Adventures and part of the events, (which included Android Shadow Green, Classic Sonic, Sonic (No Place Style) and Circuit Metal Sonic) have been discontinued!
  • Adventures will return at a later date.
